Every so often in local politics you’ll have a candidate that refuses to lose. It can get kinda ugly. Accusations get tossed. Reputations go up in smoke. And they say local politics is boring. Sure, if a 3 ring circus where the lions and tigers are loose and chasing the clowns and a rampaging elephant is boring. Ah well, I guess you’ll have that sometimes.

This is the country of ingenuity, is it not? Then why are we not doing what it takes to come up with better solutions to our energy problems? Is it because Americans are too lazy to think anymore? We can think of many ways to use the internet, but we are still using filthy fuels like coal and gas to power our imaginations. Is there anyone out there that has a better idea than razing our mountains and pillaging our wilderness? Someone please say yes. I would really appreciate it. I grew up with this idea that Americans were the inventors, the idealists. I have been let down. It is very sad. It’s too bad that we can’t think of something better for us and our future. Coal? Oil? There has got to be a better way than raping our natural beauty. Put your brain into it, and please help save our beautiful country from those who would destroy it in it’s namesake.

Ever wonder what it would take to bring the man to your door? Why are the NSA going through all this effort to data base our calls? What kind of phone company would participate in such a thing? Meanwhile back at the NSA they are tracking down confidential sources from phone calls made by ABC News and the Washington Post. They are doing this to “track down the CIA leak.” Yeah right! What they are doing in essence is the same thing a baseball pitcher does when he hits the batter. The NSA, CIA, FBI & DHS are backing the press off the plate so that the press won’t hit any more home runs. So that no more little white lies turn black. So that the public doesn’t hear any more scandals. So that every one is ignorant, happy and blissed out that we have an arrogant scoff-law for not only a president but an administration as well.
