It just kills me that some people think that all gay people are sex crazed maniacs dying to get in your pants. http://legislativereport.tenneconomics.com/?p=591

It also drives me nuts that when found out they blame everything but themselves, and people still stick up for them. I don’t care if he’s in the closet that’s not my problem. I don’t care, but he shouldn’t be out there harassing people because he’s uncomfortable with his life.

dear sticky fingers,

Do you think this will be good copy for my lost and found ad in the newspaper?

Hey there Sticky fingers, thanks for relieving me of my bag you douche. Bet you were depressed when all you found was a couple of sketchbooks , a cheap planner and a tampon. You asshole, you probably just threw it away when you didn’t find any money. What a shithead, you could’ve at least returned the books to me, I had my address and phone number all over them. If I catch you diddy-boppin around with that bag you’ll wish you had left it alone in the first place.

Is it too harsh? Nah…

Depression is just anger without enthusiasm…

Today Web Zen had “Potent Potables” (drinks). I think that I’ll get off here and go have some potent potables myself.

long days, longer nights

I’ve been working on this drawing for around two days while waiting on things to upload or download. Sometimes those things take alot of time so I start doodling to kill the boredom. It works, but then I find myself drawing instead of you know, taking care of ads.

The thundering herd

I feel sort of like I have been out running with the bulls. I’m even panting a little. I’ll be glad to have some down time, whatever that is.drawing

Barcamp Nashville

barcamp nashville

I just got back from Nashville this afternoon and went straight to work to finish out a football special section. No matter how psyched you are there are still deadlines that have to be met. I really enjoyed Barcamp. I took some notes, wrote down some names, shook some hands, handed out some business cards and met some really great people. It was exactly what we needed. Thanks to everyone at Barcamp and all the guest speakers for making this event possible. If you’ve been to http://newstroll.wordpress.com/ lately you’d see that our newspaper’s web site is nearly finished. We are so excited we’ll probably start handing out cigars, this whole thing has felt like one long labor pain. Hopefully it will be a child we will all be proud of.

Wow it’s hot. Playgrounds spontaneously combusting. We had an apartment building burn to the ground because somebody left an aerosol can of raid outside in the sun. It exploded into flames apparently. Yikes. The playground incident was in Texas and was caused by hot mulch. Yes, that’s right, hot mulch. Please let it rain before I go up in flames.

I am scared of just about everything. Lately it’s bridges. How does a structure of concrete and steel just collapse just like that. No warning. No notice. Just kablooey! Down in a heap in the river. I was apprehensive before when crossing one, now I’m freaked. First off I am a nervous passenger, always stomping on the imaginary brake and white knuckling the “oh-shit handle”. When I drive I make my grandma seem reckless. I’m scared to death of heights too. I can barely get up on a ladder to change the light bulbs in my house. I like lamps I can reach with my feet on the floor. So when you combine these two phobias you get my bridge anxiety. I think I’ll just take the ferry thanks. And now for a confession ,speaking of anxiety, my nerves are kinda raw. If I have snapped at you it is because of this more than anything else. I truly am sorry for that and will try to find a more healthy way of releasing the steam. No excuse, I know, but a reason so you’ll know.
