Fechheimer (or better known here as Martin Manufacturing) a sewing factory that made uniforms, will be closing it’s doors in approx. 60 days. The majority of the 160 workers are women, some are elderly, a large percentage are single moms. I know what it feels like to watch the maintenance guys start to band up the equipment, I’ve been there twice. It doesn’t feel very good when you’re single with no responsibilities, but I can’t imagine the panic when you have kids to feed.
