You’ve got to love a guy that gives you step by step instructions. It’s just like having the professor in the room with you. Of course I screwed up my first attempt, see below:

I missed a couple of steps at the get go and it sort of piled up into a great poo pile, so I quit and moved on. I have to say I’m pleased with the results even though I also know that I need some more practice.

Am I bugging you?

I hate spreadsheets. They make my eyes go all wonky and I have to really concentrate to tell one line from the other. They remind me of my corporate drone days where I had to keep lots of these handy so that I could look extremley busy and important should anyone equally busy and important walk by.

These doodles reminded me of that time my ex husband had bought me one of those deluxe Franklin planners  and I did the dishonor of doodling in it alongside my schedule. He freaked out on me about it “How many sketchbooks do you have and you doodle in your planner, that just shows how irresponsible you really are, you need to take some things seriously, that’s your problem.” It’s probably no mistake that we were divorced some months later. Oh well…

The top page is just me messing around. The dude was drawn first as a warm up. The grim reaper was originally a squiggle until the squiggle became a cowl. There’s some notes about something I forgot to do yesterday (oops). Then it was on to…bunnies? What the hell is my thing about bunnies lately? And what is going on in that picture? Don’t ask me I just drew it. You decide, leave me a caption. The winner gets the bunnies, straight out of the Little Black Book.

To say that our children aren’t going to be burdened with our debt is to stick your head in the sand. All we can do is hope that they are in a better situation than us. If not, holy cow sonny we’re sorry.
