This is the very picture of our local political scene here in West TN. It’s contentious to say the least. Since the statewide Republican victory in the house and senate several county election administrators have been shown the door. Democrats have taken a beating. But like they say in NASCAR, “It’s nothing personal, it’s just racing.” Or as the local chair of the Republican party said “…I’ll leave you with this comment from our President, Mr. O’bama, when being criticized for some of his decisions – “Elections have consequences.”

Seems like everything I hear is bad news. Job losses, job losses, job losses, SWINE FLU! OMG WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!! I can only listen to that noise for so long. I’m not going to sit around and worry myself into a tizzy worrying about what might or might not happen. I’m going to keep drawing silly pictures for you to look at whether I have a job here or somewhere else, I apologize ahead of time for the fry grease.

I saw this Demon Carousel at The Iris Festival held in Dresden this weekend. Carnival rides are fascinating, I thinks it’s the mix of the threat of danger and the promise of fun.
