Dear Beth,

My name is Mariusz Rodziewicz. I work for a solar and wind/alternative energy company here in Surprise, Arizona. The company website is saltriverenergy.com The reason why I am contacting you today is to find out if and how it would be possible for me to use your excellent Floored! cartoon in advertisements for my company’s products. Your cartoon in one word perfectly drives home the message we are trying to send to consumer’s, that there is a better way than chronically high electric bills, both for their pocketbooks and the environment as a whole.

I really fell in love with the cartoon as soon as I saw it and would like to know what it would take to get your authorization to use it in the ads I am producing. If you would like to see the copy of the ad as well, I would be glad to provide you with a copy!

Thank you very much for your time and please keep up the excellent artwork! You seem to be incredibly talented, especially to someone like myself who can barely put together a passable stick-figure drawing!

Networked Blogs listed your blog as “related to” mine when I signed up just now. Cravens? Cartoons? That *almost* sounds like we ARE related! (People are always calling me Kristen Craven.)

    I thought about putting them all together in a book form. Just don’t know how that’s done really. Not real good at marketing. Thanks for the encouragement.
