The problem with guns designed for younger children is parents who weren’t properly instructed in gun safety. All these accidents were 100% preventable if the adults had understood they needed to supervise those kids 100% of the time that gun was in their hand.
On the other hand, young kids who get these guns and are supervised properly by adults _AND_ taught stringent gun safety at the time will grow up to be extremely safe and responsible gun owners, like my kids – one of whom is now serving as a U.S. Marine.

I’m glad that there are responsible gun owners out there who understand that not every kid is Davy Crockett.
